
Raj Kumar Subramaniam shared this in one of the WhatsApp group and I saw this right after a coaching session I had with client.
This reminded me of some work I do especially with sales people and entrepreneurs. While I am not teaching in a coaching session, one of the criteria agreed upon during contracting is that I have their permission to stretch their capacity and help them create a structure and support system.
One way to do that is to get them set timelines for themselves. Earning more sales will always remain as a dream, if the amount like 7% or 13% is not defined and a timeline is not placed. It could be something that happens in 5 years if we do not set timings and work backwards to make sales happen.
Goal setting is something that occasionally I find, has been looked over. Its not a must that goals are only done in Dec or Jan. And also forgetting the goals that is done and not revisited to see and track progress made. Sometimes a look at strategies is needed upon review to evaluate what has been working and what has not.
Take some time to look at your goals.. does it have a time attached to it?
